KC Cleaning & Maintenance is looking for a motivated and reliable Part-Time Pest Control Helper to join our growing team in Philadelphia. This is a unique opportunity to start a rewarding career in pest control with comprehensive on-the-job training and test preparation. We are offering a 3-6 month probation period, during which the successful candidate will receive hands-on experience, training, and support to prepare for the Pennsylvania pest control applicator license exam.
Upon passing the applicator test and obtaining your pest control license, the position will transition to a full-time role with a starting salary of $60,000 per year, plus additional benefits, including a 401(k) plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist certified pest control technicians in performing pest control services.
- Learn proper techniques and procedures for pest identification, treatment, and prevention.
- Study and prepare for the pest control applicator test.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment while adhering to all company and industry safety standards.
- Support the team with equipment, materials, and reporting tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and move equipment, as well as work in various environments.
- Must be available for part-time hours during the probationary period.
- Commitment to passing the pest control applicator exam within 3-6 months.
